ORTONA

Sometimes the material you work with is so perfectly beautiful, it doesn't require a lot of 'work' to turn it into a gorgeous piece of jewelry. Case in point, the Ortona necklace. These grey pearls are just divine, when I saw them I knew they would make the most elegant necklace. Of course, I had to have a little input, so I chose to add some brushed sterling silver beads. The end result is positively stunning. Truly, a classic pearl necklace with a contemporary twist. All metal detailing is in sterling silver.

Pearl is the birthstone for June.
